Strasbourger Hi Wizzard,
Sure - feel free to use this image. For the credit it
would be nice if you put "by Shahaf Abileah and Pnina
Strasbourger".
We really enjoyed your piece. It took us a while to get
there! Every time we'd get on an art car that appeared to
be heading deep into the playa the car would inevitably
turn around and take us towards center camp. Ugh! :-)
Eventually we just walked out there, and it was worth it.
I'm the guy that wrote "sore feet, happy soul".
Take care,

wizzard asks a favor
Hey,
I'm the guy that made THE END, and I'd love to display the high rez version of the image you have of it at:
http://flickr.com/photos/loupiote/xxxxxxxxxxxx/
on my web site at:
http://wizzard.com/bm2008
I'd be more than glad to give any sort of credit line &/or link to your flickr page &/or other site. Just tell me what wording/links you'd like me to include.
wizzard
please include the link to your image (above)-I'm sending messages to others and want to be able to see who is saying yes.

Hi guy who made THE END *grin*
You may absolutely use this image, and any others in the
set... I actually have more shots, that I hadn't made
public yet, in that series, that I've gone ahead and made
public now... Use any that you'd like... You're welcome to
link to flickr if you want to :)
Thank YOU for the installation... If my Husband had let me,
I would have climbed to the top... Needless to say, we did
an 8 mile bike ride to get to THE END, and it was worth
ever second...
We were not able to see her burn, so it was great to see
those images on your site...
Blessings,
Michele

Hi Bob, nice to hear from you. I loved your piece and wish
I'd had the time to do more photos of it. Next year?
As you can see, I post my shots with a CC license, so the
normal link or credit line is fine. I don't have a photo
site other than Flickr, but if you want to also link to my
main music site I'd appreciate it. The artistic direction
behind your piece, my photos, and the music I work with is
100% in alignment: http://www.hos.com.

hi Wizzard,
Thank you for your interest in having my photo on your site. I really enjoyed seeing it and taking rest behind it on a sunny afternoon. i also enjoyed watching a really drunken frat boy get his hand caught in the chicken wire when he was trying to climb it even though it said to stay off all over the sculpture! hehehe.
I would be honored to have my picture on your site.
Credit me as Valerie Photogoddess. You don't have to link to my Flickr but you can if you would like to. I appreciate the reach out.
Thank you again for your art.
Looking forward to seeing more!

Photo by Sid Deb hey wizzard,
please feel free to use my photo of your work and thanks for asking.
great job by the way... how long did it take to plan and put together?
After my first burn, i had an idea to make a huge BRC sign way out in
the far playa,
with the hope of making it so collossal that it would be visible from
the the man,
with animated lights going around it, and a sound system pumping out
some beats
for those that ventured that far... i'd still like to attempt it one
day, but i've so far
been immersed in other projects for art cars and sound systems.
So... I take my hat off to you for actually pulling off this work!
Please just mention my name 'Sid Deb' and add a link to my flickr page:

thank you,

Photo by Jason Eppink Yes yes yes! It is the least I could do in return for you. Thank you
so much for bringing this to the playa; it was by far the most
meaningful work of art for me this year.
Please just credit to Jason Eppink and link back to the photo page on
Flickr.

One of my favorite art installations this year, it's so simple and well done, I really enjoyed it. Riding out to it you feel like you're never getting closer to it, it's just getting bigger, as you realize it's not a 5' tall sign, and it slowly grows to ~15'. Especially rewarding and hard since the playa was so soft this year bike riding was almost futile.

Of course you can. Just link the images back to their
flickr page, and if you mention credits put me in, no
worries.
Thanks, and if you had anything to do with the
installation, which it looks like you did, then even more
thanks, it was one of my favorites.
Especially this year with the playa so soft, it was so hard
to get all the way out there, and the end side just seemed
to get bigger, and the goal of the trash fence father away. Flickr Photo page

Photo by Brian Miller Yes, The photo should already be licensed Creative Commons.
"Photo: Brian Miller" linked back to the flickr photo page
is a pretty standard way to do the attribution. Thanks for
asking. And great sculpture!

How are you? Excellent art! And you are certainly more
than welcome to use the picture. The picture seems to have
gotten distorted when I uploaded it, so I will try again to
upload a version that does not have the shading distortion
at the bottom. No worries about credit. The picture is
not taken all that well, but the art is phabulous! :)
If you want playa names for us to ladies in the pic, they
are Curry and Samaya (L to R). Also, if there is another
place you'd rather me upload the photo to, just let me
know. :)
Hugs and all that happy schtuff,
Curry/charis
